Navigating personal difficulties and, at times, despair can lead us to sadness/depression, fear/anxiety, loneliness/isolation, or loss/grief. Having someone to talk with outside your world can give a fresh perspective. Often this is all we need to help us find our own way out of our difficulties.

This is a chance to engage in a one-on-one conversation with someone who, now in her 70’s, has experienced most of life’s ups and downs. In a non-judgmental, confidential space, you are welcome to share as much as you are comfortable with, and just have someone who will listen and also respond with care and compassion. The underlying baseline is unconditioned support.

Dr. Kimura draws on her personal life experiences along with her knowledge of psychology, philosophy, and spirituality. Her approach is to guide a person towards their own best path and solutions, rather than to engage in any top-down manner. We are all human beings, we all go through the same kinds of problems, and we can all find our way out to a better life.
